Millie Gentle Counselling

Offering support in times of anxiety and/or depression

We all have times in our life when things can feel overwhelming. This can be because of certain relationships, issues with work, past experiences having an affect on us in the present, or sometimes we experience feelings we don't even really understand; we feel anxious and depressed for reasons we can't point to or fully comprehend. Exploring the feelings that arise from these experiences can help. Counselling can offer a safe space to do this. I provide a calm and non-judgemental environment to help you explore what you're experiencing at your own pace.

About Me

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, currently working online or over the phone. When I work face to face, I offer sessions in Peckham.

I've worked with individuals experiencing a variety of issues in their lives including relationship problems, work related stress, childhood trauma, bereavement and loss, parenting worries, and cultural identity. I offer a non-judgemental and safe space where we can explore the issue(s) you're going through.

Working in a Person-Centred way means we work at your pace, focusing on the issues you wish to bring to counselling. I believe that being able to explore your issues in a safe and trusting environment can lead to new perspective and insight. I fully believe in the restorative power of feeling truly heard and understood, which is something that can occur during the counselling process.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Registered member MBACP). I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice (2018). I have a BA Hons and Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling from the Metanoia Institute, which is affiliated with Middlesex University.
